Information regarding minors traveling to Brazil

Minors under 18 years of age must follow special requirements to obtain a Tourist Visa to travel to Brazil. IN ADDITION to the GENERAL REQUIREMENTS for a Tourist Visa, the following ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS BELOW MUST also be presented:

REQUIREMENTS NEEDED: (Please read carefully)

Notarized Letter or Notarized Authorization Form signed by both parents. (No Exceptions).
Original Birth Certificate PLUS one copy (Original is not kept by the Consulate but must be shown).

NOTE: Both parents EVEN if both are traveling with the minor MUST notarize the authorization letter; also, YOU WILL still need to provide the Original PLUS one copy of the child(s) birth certificate.
